Lotema is an international cash broker and marketing consultant for companies involved in commodity procurement and trading.

We trade a diverse range of agricultural commodities in bulk or containers including cereals, feed grains, pulses, live cattle and niche food products like milling oats and chia.

As a service provider, one of our greatest strengths is the key relationships we have forged with an extensive portfolio of suppliers and buyers. The confidence that comes from dealing with reliable, trusted sellers or buyers cannot be understated in any business and can often be the difference between a successful or not so successful transaction.

Established in 2009 by its principal Todd Lees, the company has achieved modest growth year on year since its incorporation. The company’s primary focus in the early days was trading bulk shipments of wheat and barley to flour and animal feed millers in countries such as Saudi Arabia, Sudan, Bahrain, Qatar, UAE and Oman. As our business has matured, we have expanded the commodities and regions we trade and are now considered a trusted and reliable broker for wheat, barley, sorghum, corn, chickpeas, lentils, yellow peas, mungbeans, fabas beans and lupins.

The consultancy services we provide are as diverse as the commodities we trade, from providing general market information in regards crop production forecasts and pricing to a more structured and comprehensive training and workshop program. These programs are designed to identify an organisations potential trading opportunities and establish the necessary resources required to harness those opportunities.

Our company believes that business can only be considered successful if both buyer and seller are happy at the conclusion of the business. We believe if we conduct our business with respect and integrity we can achieve this.
